PC deployment completed

Dr. Camilo A. Polinga, project manager of iSchools-CvSU, announced the completion of hardware deployment and laboratory installation in the iSchools 2007 beneficiary schools as follows:

The Computer and Internet Literacy Course (CILC) will be conducted in the coming weeks to train the teachers in these schools.

iSchools project revises CILC curriculum

CICT convenes the ICT coordinators and trainers from 25 partner SUCs on January 19-21 at the Cavite State University in Indang, Cavite to determine the right curriculum for the Computer and Internet Literacy Course (CILC). CILC is one of the training workshops provided to teachers of the recipient public high schools for strengthened classroom learning and instruction through integration of ICT.

Dr. Lloyd Espiritu, professor of Instructional Systems Technology at De La Salle University in Manila, provides the framework for the workshop proper. Ms. Toni Tirona, iSchools project head of CICT, leads the project management staff in facilitating the activity.

iSchools 2007 Recipients

Year 2009 is here and it's been quite a while since the last post in this site. It does not mean that there had been a long vacation. There are still a few more to be done before the conduct of 2006 Project Closure.

While waiting for the installation of Internet connections in the 14 PHSs being assisted by Cavite State University, the project management staff conducted a series of activities including visits and evaluation of proposed iSchools recipients.

Project team revisits Marinduque recipient schools

Project staff conducts preliminary assessment

Danielito Escano, project staff of CvSU, conducts preliminary assessment at the Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo National High School Annex in Cavite. The team evaluates public high schools in Cavite and Marinduque that are being considered to become a beneficiary of the 2007 iSchools Project.
